Costly Mistakes
Even a friend’s recommendation didn't prevent Jonas and Sally Mullen from having problems with a contractor.
The Mullens said they never checked the credentials of the contractor they hired in April to replace the siding on their Northeast Richland home.
Turned out the contractor was unlicensed and had a history of complaints. Now, the couple said they are left with openings in their roof and holes in their wallet — for $14,000.
